8. Punch Cakes

Punchcakes are the Austrian version of the French “petit four." The little cake is filled with crumbs, chocolate, apricot jam, soaked in rum, and covered in a sugar glaze. Traditionally the cakes are square; we made our own version, round little cakes with various flavors – Cherry, Spiced Rum, and orange liqueurs, and covered in flavored and colored sugar-glazes.

Includes 7 cakes in silver tin container.

Ingredients: Flour, egg yolk, sugar, chocolate, walnuts, apricot jam, confectioner's sugar, rum, cherry liqueur, Grand Marnier. CONTAINS WHEAT, TREE NUTS (walnuts), EGG YOLKS.
