A true Austrian classic, this poppy cake (Mohntorte) is moist, almost juicy, with a slightly stony flavor of the poppy seeds and blended hazelnuts. We topped it with a marzipan layer and lemon zest.
The cake comes in 4, 6 and 8-inch size.
